Years ago we started selling cowboy style campfire woks for cooking over a campfire and doing NRA certified gun-safety courses. We then expanded to become the Arizona Outdoor Magazine. We loved getting know the best and brightest within the outdoor industry. Ultimately, the over head was too much for us to handle and we went dormant. We had to take a step back and re-evaluate what we really wanted to do.
Thus we created the online forum, marketplace and a nonprofit foundation. We saw that people wanted more than just a magazine but a place they could get to wherever they were and have an open discussion about the many outdoor lifestyles we live every day.
So feel free to take a look around, get involved the way you want and get outdoors.
Youth today have a lot going against them. They are constantly bombarded with influences that would keep them inside and isolated causing many mental, social and physical problems including major anxiety, social ineptitude and physical illnesses.
Arizona Outdoor Charities aims to help by granting gifts of outdoor equipment and opportunities to those who wish to get outdoors, but for some reason, can not. We provide scholarships, financial aid for outdoor programs and equipment to help people get outdoors.
If you have equipment you would like to donate for a tax deduction, please feel free to contact us.
Giving to Arizona Outdoor Charities is tax deductible under the IRS rules.
